Know When Your BFR Is Due
Your BFR falls due two years from your flight test date, not your licence issue date – check your logbook; renewing within 60 days keeps the original anniversary.

A BFR is required every two years for the licence you hold. Importantly, the expiry date runs from the date you passed your flight test, not the date your licence was issued – so the issue date shown on your physical licence can differ from your BFR due date.
Your logbook is the best place to check your currency. The front page should show your next BFR date, which will be exactly two years from the date of your flight test.
You can complete your BFR up to 60 days before the expiry date. If you do it within this 60-day window, your new BFR date is still calculated as two years from the original expiry date, rather than two years from the day you completed the review.
Check your logbook and make sure you know when your next BFR is due.
