Return Equipment and Keep the Apron Clear
Apron safety is shared – look out for anything out of place and return towbars, tie-downs and other equipment as soon as you've finished with them.

Safety in the operational areas of an aerodrome is a shared responsibility. Every pilot should always be on the lookout for things that are out of place or could affect the safe operation of any aircraft.
For example, a towbar was once left in the grass near the northern hangar – an area often used for taxiing and parking aircraft. Imagine what would happen to a propeller if someone accidentally taxied over it.
Return towbars, tie-downs and any other equipment that doesn't belong on the apron to its proper place as soon as you've finished with it.
