Keep the Baggage Compartment Tidy
Return covers and gear to their proper place after every flight – a messy baggage compartment causes wear, safety risks, lost items and costs for the club.

Keeping the baggage compartment tidy isn't just good practice – it's also an important part of your pre-flight inspection. Loose or incorrectly stored gear can cause unnecessary wear, create safety risks or go missing.
After each flight, return everything to its proper place. If you're not sure where something belongs, ask an instructor.
For example, MWM's baggage compartment was once left in an unacceptable condition: the aircraft cover hadn't been packed into its bag, and the engine and pitot covers were left loose rather than stored in their usual spots. It might seem minor, but misplaced or damaged items can lead to costly replacements for the club and affect other members' experience.
